Radio Tower Installation and Maintenance
We at American Infrastructure & Tower (AIT) love building radio & cell towers. It is a uniquely satisfying experience, to those of us in the trade, to see a site go from an empty field into a 300’ self-supporting structure in a matter of days. Our management has built literally hundreds of radio towers across the US and get special enjoyment from unique or challenging jobs. Self-support, monopole, guyed, stealth – we build every type of antenna supporting structure.
Our staff is also well-versed in all applicable standards, including ANSI/TIA-222, ANSI/TIA-322, ARM 750-1, and Motorola R56. We can provide installation, modification, and/or maintenance services to ensure your tower is up to code and meeting the needs of your tenants. Our expertise includes installation and repair of obstruction lighting systems to ensure your tower is visible to aircraft and compliant with FCC & FAA regulations.
AIT does not self-perform tower painting but we do maintain a catalog of qualified vendors and are happy to provide construction management services to assign and supervise such so that your tower’s obstruction marking or stealth paint is refreshed in compliance with all applicable codes and best-practices.
